Blazing Dawn Software products are undergoing "renovations." The old favorites will be replaced with new, more modern versions as time goes on. Up next is our popular educational title, Creepin' Critter Math.

ChecksQuickTM 3.2 beta 2 (for Mac OS X and Windows)

We have made a second beta of ChecksQuick 3.2 available for download. Version 3.2 beta 1 added compatibility for feeding checks in landscape orientation using printers that feed on the right or left rather than from the center. Beta 2 adds support for checks of $10000.00 to $99,999.99. Download beta 2 from a link on the Blazing Dawn Blog.

Patent GrabberTM 5.8 (for Mac OS X and Windows)

Added full-text EP-A searching (up to 30 hits). Fixed the downloading issues for EP, PCT and International patent documents that had been caused by changes at the European Patent Office. Why not download a free trial copy now?

Intel Macs: no incompatibilities have been reported for either ChecksQuick or Patent Grabber.

Mac OS X "Snow Leopard": three reports of no problems with Patent Grabber. One of those users had to download and unzip a fresh copy after upgrading to Snow Leopard because of a problem immediately after the upgrade. Patent Grabber worked fine after that. One report of no problems with ChecksQuick (once you upgrade to Snow Leopard, make sure your printer drivers are up to date; see our blog for details).

Windows 7: one report of no problems with Patent Grabber and one report of no problems with ChecksQuick.

[Image]  Online Purchasing

I offer Online Purchasing through The Kagi Store's Secure Server or Regular Server. Download software, and if you like it, come back here and purchase a license using a major credit card, check or even cash. If you don't know whether your browser supports secure transactions, try the Secure Server first. If it does not work, then try the Regular Server. I personally do not see your credit card information. Everything is handled by The Kagi Store. If you want information about Kagi before you entrust your credit card number to them, visit their site at www.kagi.com.

[Image] Al Stewart

Were you ever a fan of singer/songwriter Al Stewart, but have lost track of him since the days of his Platinum albums, "Year of the Cat" and "Time Passages"? Well, Al is alive and well, and still performing; and has done some great albums since Time Passages. Check out his official web site for more information.

[Image]  Melron Records (free song downloads!)

Do you like the "Philly Sound" of the late 50's and early 60's? If so, check out the web site of Melron Records and listen to song samples in MP3 format. You can also download three full length MP3's! All songs are Melron originals from that era. Includes Pop and R&B sounds. All songs can be purchased from Apple's iTunes Music Store.

[Image]  Orange Book Companion®

I created the Orange Book Companion line of drug information products and services as a way to make it easier to research the patents and exclusivity of FDA-approved drugs. The Orange Book Companion is now marketed by the Food and Drug Law Institute in Washington, DC. They offer both online and CD-ROM subscriptions at reasonable prices. Anyone interested in archival copies of the Orange Book Companion two-volume book set from 2003 and 2004 should request availability and pricing information from FDLI. I intend to bring back the Orange Book Companion two-volume book set in the future.
